the largest maintenance centre in the overall DB structure
Deutsche Bahn's (DB) transport fleet is growing and the need for maintenance is increasing.
To meet this demand, DB's largest and most modern railway maintenance centre is being built at the Cottbus site by 2026. The construction includes two halls for the heavy maintenance of ICE trains. For the first time, DB is relying on a new and innovative contract model, the "rail partnership model". All parties involved are involved at an early stage in the planning phase and work more closely together to ensure that, among other things, the jointly agreed schedule and budget are adhered to.
