Construction Material Technology
In our construction material technology department, everything revolves around the selection, testing and further development of our building materials - above all concrete. With modern testing equipment, mixers and moulds, our experts ensure that our concrete delivers what it promises.
To do this, they not only work in the laboratory, but also directly on our construction sites.
But they also think ahead: our construction material technology department is actively researching the construction materials of the future. One major goal is concrete that is completely CO₂-free - a real challenge that they are tackling with passion. The first innovative projects show what is already possible: for example, in lots 1 and 2 of the U5 East consortium in Hamburg, where environmentally friendly building materials are being used.
