Lean beyond the
project

Lean management at Wayss & Freytag has an impact far beyond individual projects. Together with all divisions, we optimise processes and share our knowledge within the Zech Group.
This creates synergies that strengthen our performance. Our CEO, who is also deputy chair of the GLCI, has been committed to the further development of Lean Construction for many years.
Our experts share their expertise at specialist conferences, associations and universities. This allows everyone to learn from each other and lays the foundation for implementation in the market.

Lean works through people

Our employees at Wayss & Freytag do an outstanding job. With lean, we create structures and tools to specifically promote their development and further improve performance.
Experienced experts and young talents work together to develop efficient solutions that fulfil high standards. Whether building, bridge, tunnel or track construction - our flexible lean approach combines knowledge, experience and innovation.

  • Our principles for success

We use lean principles to organise processes efficiently and effectively. We deliver buildings on time. We keep to the agreed budget. We ensure the desired quality.
  • We train lean experts

As a VDI training partner, we are authorised to impart qualifications in accordance with recognised standards. We train lean construction experts in accordance with VDI 2553.
  • Continuous improvement

We are constantly developing lean construction methods and standards. We analyse projects across the board in order to gain best practices. We secure experience through lessons learnt workshops.
