Project description

As an extension to an existing clinic building, a shell construction with a basement and four storeys is being built on the southern part of the Schön Klinik site in Munich-Harlaching, Grünwalder Str. 72. The new building is to be connected to the existing building at several points. Construction work must not have any noticeable impact on the operation of the clinic.

The main part of the work is the reinforced concrete work on the foundation, the basement and the perforated façade and the ceilings of the four storeys as well as KS masonry work for interior walls. In addition, earthworks will be carried out as residual excavation and backfilling of the excavation pit, basic electrical and wastewater pipes will be laid, demolition work will be carried out on the façade in the connection areas, painting and floor coatings will be applied and earthing and electrical installation work will be carried out. In addition to the limited construction area and short construction time, the local remodelling measures in the transition areas between the new and existing buildings while the clinic was in full operation were also challenging.
