- Pedestrian and cycle tunnel
- Length: 114.77 m, clear width: max. 6.45 m, clear height: approx. 4.22 m
- Tunnel structure in double-shell construction, blasting with reinforced/unreinforced shotcrete shell and anchors to prevent post-cracking and deformation
- Rain screen sealing with plastic sheeting and an elm drainage system
- Reinforced concrete inner shell in the portal areas, with steel fibres in the mining control area
- The carriageway is constructed on the open rock base
- The north portal block is to be aligned with the embankment
- The south portal will be redesigned with the ascent to the Georgsberg
Special feature
- The most modern blasting technology will be used for the blasting, as the buildings extend to a minimum distance of 8 metres from the excavated embrasure, some of which is a historic building.
