Fehmarnbelt Tunnel: preferred bidder
On March 4, 2016, the Danish parliamentary steering committee of the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel gave Femern A/S the go-ahead to announce the preferred bidders for the main construction contracts. Conditional contracts shall be signed by the middle of May 2016 at the latest. Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG is a partner in the construction consortium Femern Link Contractors (FLC), which was awarded the contract for the construction of the tunnel, also including the tunnel factory. The consortium Femern Link Contractors (FLC) was also awarded the contract for the construction of the tunnel portal and the ramps.
