Ground-breaking ceremony for the excavation pit at the Ernsting’s family Campus in Coesfeld-Lette

The corporate campus of Ernsting’s family, a family-run business based in Coesfeld-Lette, continues to grow. In addition to the existing head office and sales centre, the logistics centre is now set to be expanded.

On 13 April 2026, the ceremonial ground-breaking took place for the excavation pit, which the Special Foundation Engineering/Central Division is implementing on a turnkey basis in a joint venture with Zech Bau, Bielefeld branch. The excavation will be carried out using a submerged concrete base, micro-pile buoyancy control, a back-anchored, overlapping bored pile wall and DSV underpinning of neighbouring buildings. The excavation volume amounts to around 100,000 cubic metres of earth, covering a floor area of approximately 10,000 square metres.

The symbolic start of construction was celebrated together with the owner family of Ernsting’s family, their board members, the Mayor of Coesfeld and other project stakeholders. Representing our group were Jürgen Oyen (CEO of Zech Bau SE), division heads Jörg Hartmann and Thomas Fiedler, site managers Dr Markus Adams and Matthias Pannebäcker, as well as other project stakeholders.

We wish the project every success!
