A 94 motorway
Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG, as a member of the bidder consortium „Isentalautobahn GbR“ with the partners Berger Bau, BAM PPP A-Modell Holding GmbH and Eiffage S.A., was awarded the contract for the construction of the new 33 kilometer long motorway section which closes the gap between Pastetten and Heldenstein by Autobahndirektion Südbayern (Motorway Direction South Bavaria). The scope of work comprises construction, maintenance and operation of the 77 kilometre long motorway section of the A 94 motorway between Forstinning and Marktl.
In the course of this contract the consortium will build 33 kilometres of motorway as well as four large bridges, 24 medium-sized bridges and 29 smaller bridges. Furthermore, four new interchanges, two parking areas with toilets and 22,000 square meters of irritation protection and noise protection walls are to be built. The contract period is 30 years.
The works start at the beginning of February 2016. The section shall be completed by the end of October 2019.
Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau already proved their competency in the realisation of privately financed public infrastructure projects with the construction of the A 8, the first PPP project in Germany, and A 9 motorway. .
